In the afternoon, we're signing papers for our new home in San Luis Obispo. By night we're watching the greatest rock band of all time, Nine Inch Nails, in a tiny basketball gym at the Cal Poly Rec Center. It had to be the second greatest day of my entire life.

camping trip!

This past weekend Evy and I went on a small camping trip to Lake Lopez in Arroyo Grande, CA. We went out on a few hikes, checked out the lake, and ran around with Snoop for a while. All was well until some crazy kids showed up at the site right next to us, playing their loud rap music and drinking like fish. Oh well, reminded me of myself just a few short years ago... Evy disagreed with the situation and told Ranger Dick to visit their campsite and give 'em a few words. Guess they were underrage because they were told to go home. Hah hah. You know you've become old when you get mad at the neighbors for having a party rather than joining them for a cold one.

We also ran into a bobcat just around the corner from our tent - comforting to know you're that close. Oh, and there were the signs posted everywhere to "beware of mountain lions - last seen 11/10/05". Hmmm, that was just a few days ago... not too promising, I thought to myself. I guess things turned out alright - no one got eaten alive by any crazy wildebeest.

Well, we got another puggle. We just had to when we saw his smiling little face. I mean, how could one resist? These little guys are the cutest creatures on earth.

Just kidding, but if we had the chance, this little rascal would be in our home too.

Evy and I are looking for a home in Atlanta that we could settle into sometime this year. Yes, we're finally coming to the conclusion that we're nearing the end of our Pismo Beach tenure. Have you seen the prices of the homes out here?!? If you've seen any good buys in your neighborhood, let us know.

More random facts - if you haven't heard already, Nine Inch Nails (NIN), just put out their first album in 5+ years (hey, genius work takes time.) You can hear the whole thing at http://www.myspace.com/ninofficial. If you liked their previous works, this album mixes all the sounds of the past albums together. Clever lyrics over a piano with bass, drums, and all the high-tech noise that makes NIN great.

For those of you who may not know, Buck quarterbacked the University of Georgia football team from 1978 to 1981. During that time, he helped lead his team to the 1980 National Championship (we will always remember the pass to Lindsey Scott), back-to-back SEC Titles in 1980 and 1981, and consecutive Sugar Bowl appearances. SNOOP is in the house, doing his classic pose called "the curl-paw". As you can well imagine, Snoop has been getting his fair share of the ladies with that irresistable face. In case you're wondering, he's a rare pug-beagle mix commonly referred to as "puggles".

Tight ride, eh? Evy and I decided to drive up and down the baja peninsula a bit, checking out small towns along the way like Todos Santos, our personal favorite.

A lot of margaritas and a lot of fun in the sun in Mexico!

Cabo San Lucas is a great honeymoon spot. Evy and I, thanks to all your support of course, were able to enjoy some quality time together and take in some sights like Lover's Beach, the Arch, Cabo Wabo, and all the rest Cabo has to offer.

Our honeymoon suite overlooked a gorgeous waterfall, which doubled as a fantastic noisemaker to keep us snoozing deep into the night.

Thanks to all of you who made it out to Cali for our celebration. Hope you all had a great time and made it back home in one piece. Evy and I enjoyed everyone's company and couldn't have been more pleased with the big evening. We some some killer dance moves out there!
